As I was reading The Philippine Star last July 28, I’ve found Ms. Tanya T. Lara’s Crazy Quilt column entitled 22 dialogues from a writer’s notebook quite interesting. In this article she writes about her favourite dialogues in reel and real life.
From the movie Practical Magic, Sandra Bullock’s letter to Nicole Kidman: “Sometimes I feel like there’s a hole inside of me, an emptiness that at times seems to burn. I think if you lifted my heart to your ear, you could probably hear the ocean…I have this dream of being whole. Of not going to sleep each night, wanting. But still, sometimes, when the wind is warm or the crickets sing…I dream of a love that even time will lie down and be still for.”
Someway, somehow I can relate to those words. Right now I’m still in search for that person who will fill the other half of the love we’ll both share. In a way, I want to think that I don’t have to look anymore, because I think I’ve found you already. But I can’t confess right now, things are complicated as it is, not now, hope I’ll get to have the chance to confess in the near future.
