Eat My English

October 6, 2008

Last September 19, 2008……Verns, Luis and I went to an event which my cousin Rachel was part of……..

After that event the three of us went food tripping. We were supposed to go to Burger Avenue in Makati Ave., but since Cielo is not with us and doubting if the joint is still open. I suddenly remembered about the segment in Qtv’s The Beat about 24/7 restaurants. They featured 3 restos: Old Swiss Inn in Makati, one resto in Libis and Eat My English in Pasig.

Ruling out Old Swiss Inn, because it’s too pricey for us, it’s down between the Libis’ and Pasig’s, since we can’t decide which to go to, I called a friend and asked Cielo where we should go. So off to Pasig we go.

Although we know now where to go, I can’t recall what’s the exact location of the restaurant, and I don’t even remember the whole name of the resto, I just knew there’s the word English in the name.

Verns said she wanted to go to Metrowalk because she haven’t been there yet, and so we decided to go to Metrowalk first before looking for the resto. Along Meralco Ave., on our way to Metrowalk, I happen to glance to my right and see this sign…

Finally we’ve found the resto……once we got there they don’t have any seats available, we’ve decided to walk to Metrowalk for Verns and just come back after a few minutes.

After a few minutes we went back and got ourselves a place to eat now. We ordered and the pigging out begins….Hmmm, why pigging out you ask, here’s why….

Verns’s Pasta (Sorry I forgot its name) & her San Miguel Beer Malt Beer

Luis’ Spanish Beef

My Red Hot Chili Paper (Pork Binagoongan)
In case you’re wondering, I didn’t misspell Paper, it really written in their menu….

Our Pata Kang Pata Ka! (Crispy Pata)
Just look at the size and just for P399, wow YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
